Doug has been a fixture of the New York magic scene for many years. Author of several books and a regular contributor to many magazines, the honor is well deserved. Most recently Doug has been the host of PA1′s monthly workshops, helping members improve their magical knowledge and skills.

Our after meeting event will be a lecture by our own Harvey Berg. Harvey’s lectures have been featured at the Mindvention events, and received rave reviews.

Harvey Berg is a mentalist, retired architect, structural engineer, college professor, and cruciverbalist (look it up). Since entering the world of magic at the age of 62 (seventeen years ago),
he has invented more than 100 original effects – some of them being regarded as the best of their kind by many mentalists and magicians.

The four effects to be shown in this lecture are very strong and very easy to do. They require no sleight of hand and are partially or wholly self working – and suitable for stage, parlor, and close-up. They could well be called the “bridal” collection.
